Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for a night shift, 13-week contract at a short-term acute care hospital in Indiana, with at least 1 year of experience and required Siemens and Cerner proficiency.

Details

• 250-bed short-term acute care hospital with outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and observation patients
• Department has 2 Siemens Magnetom Aera MRI machines with syngo MR XA30 software
• Exams include Neuro, MSK, Body, and MRA studies — Breast and Cardiac exams are not part of this role
• Charting performed in Cerner (experience required)
• 4x10-hour night shifts, 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
• On-call required: weekend call rotation every 6 weeks
• May float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate facility

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required
• Active BLS, ARRT, and ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• Indiana state license required if applicable
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Proficiency with PACS and Siemens MRI equipment required
• 2 supervisor references required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• RTO of 5 days or fewer may be auto-approved
• Local candidates (Indiana residents) are accepted, though at a reduced pay package
• Candidates who have worked as a permanent or PRN employee at this facility must have been away for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
• Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within this health system are required to take a consecutive break to reset eligibility — 90 days for out-of-state residents and 180 days for in-state residents
• Royal blue scrubs required
