Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring Epic EMR proficiency, ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications, and a minimum of 2 years of inpatient PACU experience.
Details
- PACU unit within a hospital setting
- Schedule is 4x10-hour evening shifts, 10:00–20:30
- Weekend availability is required
- Floating between all facilities within the state is required and refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- No on-call responsibilities
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active WA state RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Minimum of 2 years of inpatient PACU experience required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply provided they have Epic experience and at least 2 years of inpatient PACU experience
- Former permanent employees of any Providence-affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months before qualifying for a travel position
- Former permanent staff must also reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- RTO requests must be submitted upfront; requests made after submission or offer may be denied
- All requested certifications must be current and on file
