Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment at a rural, not-for-profit hospital in Plentywood, Montana, offering both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services.

• Busy therapy department offering both inpatient and outpatient services
• Patient population includes orthopedic, neurological, musculoskeletal, and developmentally delayed pediatric cases
• Facility includes acute care (19 licensed beds), long-term care (35 beds), and a full-service Rural Health Clinic
• Rehab services available include Physical & Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Hydrotherapy, Pelvic Health Therapy, Dry Needling, LSVT Big and Loud Program, and Pain Management
• Services also extend to local school visits and home care visits
• Day shift schedule

Requirements

• Current, active Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience in a rural hospital or similar setting preferred
• Occupational therapy experience with diverse patient populations including orthopedic, neurological, and pediatric cases

Additional Information

• The facility is the sole medical provider in Sheridan County, serving a population of approximately 4,100 residents across Montana, North Dakota, and parts of Canada
• Works alongside an interdisciplinary team including MDs, FNPs, PAs, an LCSW, and consulting specialists in radiology, orthopedics, podiatry, and surgery
• The facility will assist in securing housing for the duration of the assignment — candidates are encouraged to reach out for housing support
