Description

American Traveler is seeking an Inpatient Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of inpatient experience for a 13-week travel assignment in Lancaster, SC.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation unit within a 100-bed hospital
• Schedule: Mon–Fri, 9:00am–5:30pm (negotiable), with one required weekend per month
• No on-call requirements
• May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs
• Charting via Epic EMR
• Free on-site parking available

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of prior inpatient physical therapy experience required
• Current SC PT license or Multi-State Compact PT license required at the start of the contract; candidates with a pending SC license may be considered
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• SSN and driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted provided they have prior inpatient experience
• Dark grey scrubs required
• Online compliance modules must be completed prior to start date
• Previous permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
• Local candidates (within 60 miles of the facility) may be considered on a case-by-case basis; non-local candidates are prioritized
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of consideration; approval is based on facility needs
• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak activity months are August and September
