Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist for an outpatient position at a Critical Access Hospital in Illinois, with a minimum of 1 year of experience required.

Details

• Outpatient OT setting within a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• 13-week contract
• Charting performed in Cerner
• Candidates may be required to float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate facility
• No on-call requirements
• Local candidates are accepted with no radius restriction

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of OT experience required
• Active OT license; active or pending IL license required to apply — license required if applicable
• Active BLS certification required; AHA or Red Cross accepted (RQI AHA cards not accepted)
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Any current or former permanent or PRN employee of the Memorial Hospital System must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
• Travel pairs are not accepted
• Candidates must be prepared to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Up to 5 days of non-holiday RTO can be approved without facility review; requests beyond 5 days require facility approval
• No specific scrub color required; business casual or professional athletic attire is acceptable
• Free parking is available on-site with a permit obtained during orientation
