Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation (IRF) position on a day shift in Chesterfield, MO, requiring 2 years of experience and an active MO or compact RN license.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting with 81 private rooms across multiple floors
• Rehab Nursing unit serving adult patients (18+) recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, multiple trauma, cancer, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions
• Approximate patient ratios of 1:6–7 on days; each nurse is supported by a dedicated patient care tech
• Day shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Float requirement within the hospital's 5 units: Stroke, Comprehensive, Medically Complex, Brain Injury, and Spinal Cord Injury
• EMR: Epic
• No on-call requirements noted

Requirements

• Active RN license in MO or a compact state currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• CRRN certification is preferred
• Black scrubs required; agency-provided ID badge must be worn
• Flu vaccination required; candidates with an approved medical or religious exemption must complete a facility-specific exemption form and provide email approval — unvaccinated individuals must wear a mask from November 1 through March 31
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
