Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Montana, requiring an active MT or compact RN license and the ability to float to Mother Baby and other units.
Details
- Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
- Patient population includes laboring and postpartum patients, with float coverage to Mother Baby for couplet care
- Must be willing to float to other units as a safety companion
- Variable shift schedule, including potential weekend and after-hours shifts
- On-call work may be required based on organizational or patient needs
- 13-week contract with 36 hours per week
Requirements
- Active Montana RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, and C-EFM or equivalent AWHONN-approved Electronic Fetal Monitoring course
- One year of Labor & Delivery experience preferred
- Must be able to circulate
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and reaching above shoulder level
- Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment and exercise sound clinical judgment
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, individualized care planning, implementation of care, and ongoing evaluation in accordance with professional nursing standards
- Works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team and contributes to the professional development of peers
- Candidate must reside at least 90 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- COVID-19 vaccine is not required for this position
