Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Montana, requiring an active MT or compact RN license and the ability to float to Mother Baby and other units.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes laboring and postpartum patients, with float coverage to Mother Baby for couplet care
• Must be willing to float to other units as a safety companion
• Variable shift schedule, including potential weekend and after-hours shifts
• On-call work may be required based on organizational or patient needs
• 13-week contract with 36 hours per week

Requirements

• Active Montana RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, and C-EFM or equivalent AWHONN-approved Electronic Fetal Monitoring course
• One year of Labor & Delivery experience preferred
• Must be able to circulate
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and reaching above shoulder level
• Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment and exercise sound clinical judgment

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, individualized care planning, implementation of care, and ongoing evaluation in accordance with professional nursing standards
• Works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team and contributes to the professional development of peers
• Candidate must reside at least 90 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
