Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a hospital-based outpatient rehab position requiring at least 1 year of outpatient PT experience and an active SC or Multistate Compact PT license.

Details

• Hospital-based outpatient rehab unit located off the main hospital campus
• Day shift schedule: 5x8s, 8:00am – 4:30pm
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Holiday coverage may be required
• May be required to float to meet facility needs or cover sister facilities within scope
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Free parking available on site

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Active SC or Multistate Compact PT license required at the start of the contract; license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• SSN and driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome, provided they have outpatient PT experience
• Candidates who were previously employed (including PRN) at this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
• All requested time off must be submitted upfront; approval is based on facility needs
• Charcoal gray scrubs required
• Orientation modules are completed prior to the start date
• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response duties; peak activity months are August and September
