Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at a short-term acute care hospital, with first-time travelers welcome to apply.

Details

• Short-term acute care facility, Level IV Trauma Center with 60 total staff beds
• MRI department with a 1:1 patient ratio
• GE 1.5T MRI equipment used in this unit
• Day shifts, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekends may be required as part of the shift rotation
• No on-call required
• No floating between units within this facility; however, travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state
• Charting via Epic (required)

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
• Prior experience on a GE 1.5T MRI system required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Active professional license required if applicable
• Current and relevant certifications required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply for this position
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting are required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable
• No parking fee at this facility
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• RTO requests must be disclosed upfront; post-offer RTO requests are subject to denial
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
