Description
American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at a short-term acute care hospital, with Epic EMR experience required and first-time travelers welcome.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital with 109 beds
- MRI department with 1:1 patient ratio
- 4x10 hour shifts scheduled Wednesday through Saturday, 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM (primarily evenings)
- Saturday evenings required
- Block scheduling required
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- No on-call required, however candidates should expect to stay late for STAT add-ons from the ED or inpatient
- Some schedule variability to assist with PTO coverage
- Charting in Epic (required)
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience required
- Active ARRT (MRI) certification and current BLS required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- License required if applicable
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty and setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Scrubs in any color are acceptable; OR/Critical Care/ED/Maternal Child scrubs are provided
- No parking fee
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
