Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position requiring a TX or compact RN license, with at least 1-2 years of ICU experience and day shift availability.

Details

• 10-bed ICU unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS; NIHSS and TNCC preferred
• Minimum 1-2 years of ICU experience required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Travel pairs or groups will not be considered for this position
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved; no RTO during the first week of orientation
• Candidates residing in the following TX counties are not eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
