Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Interventional Radiology position at a Level I facility, requiring at least 2 years of IR experience, prior travel experience, and a KY or compact RN license.

Details

• Interventional Radiology unit within an academic, Level I hospital setting
• Patient population spans neonates through geriatric patients in a procedure setting
• Neuro IR procedures are a core component of this role
• Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, with on-call required
• Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Neuro experience required, or Neuro exposure in a general ICU setting
• Neuro IR procedure experience specifically required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Level I trauma experience preferred
• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years required for consideration
• Clean licensure history required — any licensure hits will result in disqualification
• Comfortable and skilled in caring for patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatric

Additional Information

• Perform Neuro IR and general interventional radiology procedures across a broad patient age range
• Former permanent staff of this facility must have been separated for at least 6 months before being eligible to return as a traveler
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of profile submission — RTO requests made after submission will not be approved
