Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring both OR Circulator and PACU experience, with Cerner proficiency in a general hospital setting.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room of a general hospital
• Case mix is predominantly GI Endoscopy and EGD (96%), with additional Orthopedic, General Surgery, Podiatry, and OB/GYN cases
• Average of 6–8 OR cases per day
• 1:1 patient-to-provider ratio per shift
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 6:30–15:00, Monday–Friday
• On-call required every 3rd day and every 3rd weekend (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday)
• Charting via Cerner EMR (experience required)

Requirements

• Active NM or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• OR Circulator experience required
• PACU experience required
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidate must demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to stay late when needed
• Flexibility to extend shifts beyond scheduled hours may be expected based on case volume
