Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department (ER) position in Jacksonville, TX, requiring active TX or compact RN licensure and a minimum of 1-2 years of ER experience.

Details

• Emergency Department (ER) setting in a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 1-2 years of ER nursing experience required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• Candidates residing in the following TX counties are not eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• Travel pairs or groups will not be considered
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
