Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department (Night shift) position at an acute care hospital in Alton, IL, requiring at least 1 year of ER experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

• Works in the Emergency Department (ER) of a 158-bed acute care hospital in Alton, IL
• Night shift schedule: 18:30–07:00 (3x12-hour shifts per week)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required
• Epic EMR used; experience is required
• No block scheduling available

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required; pending IL license may be acceptable at time of consideration — please note status when applying
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
• Minimum 1 year of emergency department (ER) experience required
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO permitted during the first week of orientation
• Travelers may remain at this facility for up to 18 months, after which a 3-month break in service is required
• Former permanent employees of this health system must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Orientation modules must be completed prior to or at start of assignment
