Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at an academic medical center, requiring ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification and experience with high-volume nuclear stress tests and advanced imaging studies.
Details
- Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department serving both outpatient and inpatient populations
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- High scan volume with procedures including nuclear stress tests, HIDA scans, V/Q scans, biliary studies, lymph injections, and amyloid studies
- GE equipment and SPECT CT G850 utilized in this department
- 5x8 day shifts, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
- Every other weekend on-call required (either Saturday or Sunday, not both consecutive days)
- Weekday on-call coverage required twice per week from 4:00 PM–10:00 PM
- Floating required within the specialty, to other units, and to sister facilities within clinical scope
Requirements
- ARRT(N) or ARRT(R) and NMTCB certification required
- Current BLS required
- State license required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
- Experience with nuclear stress tests, HIDA scans, V/Q scans, and related advanced nuclear medicine procedures
- Experience with GE nuclear medicine equipment preferred
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Holiday coverage required as scheduled
- Black scrubs required
- Any time-off requests must be disclosed at the time of initial consideration
