Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at an academic medical center, requiring ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification and experience with high-volume nuclear stress tests and advanced imaging studies.

Details

• Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department serving both outpatient and inpatient populations
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• High scan volume with procedures including nuclear stress tests, HIDA scans, V/Q scans, biliary studies, lymph injections, and amyloid studies
• GE equipment and SPECT CT G850 utilized in this department
• 5x8 day shifts, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• Every other weekend on-call required (either Saturday or Sunday, not both consecutive days)
• Weekday on-call coverage required twice per week from 4:00 PM–10:00 PM
• Floating required within the specialty, to other units, and to sister facilities within clinical scope

Requirements

• ARRT(N) or ARRT(R) and NMTCB certification required
• Current BLS required
• State license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
• Experience with nuclear stress tests, HIDA scans, V/Q scans, and related advanced nuclear medicine procedures
• Experience with GE nuclear medicine equipment preferred
