Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Long-Term Care (LTC) position requiring at least 1 year of LTC experience and comfort with high patient ratios, working nights on a 13-week contract in Spartanburg, SC.

Details

• Long-term care (LTC) facility setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:22–44; candidates must be comfortable with high patient ratios
• Weekends required on an as-needed basis
• Epic EMR experience preferred but not required
• Block scheduling is not available for this position

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required prior to start date; pending licenses will be considered
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of LTC nursing experience required; 2 years preferred
• Must be comfortable managing high patient ratios (up to 1:44)
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront; RTO requests made after initial submission will not be considered
• A Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test is administered on the first day of orientation and must be passed on the first attempt
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
• The facility maintains an attendance policy: missing more than two shifts in a 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review or cancellation
