Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Neuro position at an academic medical center in St. Louis, MO, requiring Epic proficiency and at least 2 years of experience.

Details

• Work in a 5N Neuro/Stroke/Med-Surg unit within a 356-bed nonprofit academic medical center and tertiary care facility in St. Louis, MO
• Patient population includes stroke, neurology, neurosurgery, trauma overflow, and MS overflow cases
• Patient ratio is 1:5
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend is required
• Floating is required to MS and all hospital care areas for MS patients, including ICU and ED for MS holds
• Epic EMR experience is required
• Block scheduling requests are considered at manager discretion

Requirements

• Active MO RN license or Compact RN license (pending license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current certifications: BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible
