Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine with 2+ years of experience and ARDMS OB/GYN certification for a travel assignment at an outpatient OB/GYN setting.

Details

• Outpatient OB/GYN health and wellness center setting specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine
• High-risk OB patient population including multiple pregnancies and complex fetal cases
• Scans across all trimesters: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester, including viability, growth, biophysical profiles, dopplers, detailed anatomy surveys, and AFI
• Procedures include fetal anatomical surveys, fetal echo, umbilical cord dopplers, and amniocentesis
• Equipment includes GE, Philips, Siemens, and SonoSite ultrasound systems, as well as PACS
• Charting system experience required; any system accepted
• 5x8-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine or OB/GYN ultrasound
• ARDMS OB/GYN certification required
• Current BLS required
• Proficiency in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester scanning required
• Experience with high-risk OB, portables, and MFM work settings required
• Valid state license or certification required if applicable
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• PA Fingerprints (Childline) required — results must be on file within 12 months of start date; candidates without recent results must schedule at the earliest available appointment
• First-time travelers will be considered

Additional Information

• Perform obstetric ultrasound examinations across all trimesters, including viability studies, growth assessments, biophysical profiles, Doppler studies, detailed anatomy surveys, AFI measurements, fetal echos, and amniocentesis
• A pass/fail clinical exam is required for clearance; candidates have a maximum of 3 attempts, and a 3rd failed attempt results in automatic cancellation
• Labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local rate differential
• All RTO must be submitted at the time of the initial submission; RTO requested after submission will not be accepted
