Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with a minimum of 2 years of experience for a 13-week travel assignment in Hawaii, requiring an active State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license by start date.
Details
- Diagnostic imaging department within an acute care hospital setting
- Procedures include general radiography using DR fixed equipment, DR fluoro equipment, C-arms, and portable DR equipment
- Varied shifts averaging 12 hours, with approximately 3 call days per month
- Experience with Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, Philips Fluoro, and Epic EMR is preferred
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of independent experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist
- Active State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist (Radiographer) license required by start of assignment — license required if applicable
- Current ARRT certification required
- Current BLS/BCLS certification required
- Demonstrated proficiency operating radiographic equipment independently without supervision
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and dosimetry; must be assigned a dosimetry badge
Additional Information
- All travelers must report to Employee Health 48–72 hours prior to the start of the assignment; this appointment is scheduled at the facility's Employee Health department
- Travelers must arrive on the island the Thursday before a Monday start date in order to attend the Employee Health clearance appointment on Friday morning
- Any traveler not currently holding an active State of Hawaii license must apply for licensure upon acceptance of an offer
