Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with acute care experience and an active WA license for a 13-week assignment at a Level III Trauma Center in Washington state.

Details

  • Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds
  • OT Acute Care unit with floating required between units and facilities within the state of Washington
  • Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Weekend rotation required on a 6-week basis
  • Patient ratio of 1:10
  • Charting via Epic (required)
  • No parking fee on site
  • Scrubs of any color are acceptable

Requirements

  • Active Washington state OT license required (license required if applicable)
  • Minimum 2 years of OT experience required
  • Acute care experience is a hard-stop requirement
  • Inpatient rehabilitation (IPR) experience strongly preferred
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
  • SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers will be considered for this position
  • All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state of Washington; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
  • Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
  • Minimal RTO is expected; time off requests should be disclosed upfront, as post-offer requests may be denied
