Description

American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist for an outpatient setting, requiring ARDMS or CCI registration in both Echo and Vascular with a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Outpatient cardiology/vascular ultrasound setting
• Procedures include abdominal aorta, aortic studies, arterial graft studies, carotid, color flow, Doppler studies, duplex, lower extremity arterial & venous, M-mode, renal artery duplex, transcranial Doppler, and upper extremity arterial & venous studies
• Adult patient population
• Uses Philips ultrasound equipment and PACS
• Epic EMR experience is mandatory
• 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of sonography/ultrasound experience required
• Must be registered with ARDMS or CCI; RDCS and RVT, or RCS and RVS registrations required — candidates holding only RVS certification with Echo experience will also be considered
• Adult patient population experience required
• Proficiency with Philips ultrasound equipment and PACS
• Epic EMR experience required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• All candidates must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam as part of the compliance process; two attempts are allowed — candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
• The facility has a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• 13-week contract
