Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR Float RN for a 13-week travel contract requiring an active MA RN license and Epic experience.

Details

  • Hospital-based Operating Room (OR) Float position
  • Day/night rotational shifts with variable scheduling, including weekends
  • Schedule options: 4x10 (days: 7a–5:30p or 9a–7:30p; nights: 7p–5:30a or 9p–7:30a) or 3x12 (days: 7a–7:30p or 9a–9:30p; nights: 7p–7:30a or 9p–9:30a)
  • When scheduled on weekends under the 4x10 option, shifts convert to 12-hour shifts with corresponding adjustment of weekday hours to meet contracted totals
  • Charting performed in Epic
  • Time tracking via UKG/Kronos

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
  • All certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Active MA license must be in hand at the time of consideration — no exceptions
  • 2 professional references required
  • Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions accepted

Additional Information

  • Float OR RN role covering surgical cases across operating room units
  • Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced pay rate
  • No validated parking available at Boston locations; public parking is available at candidate's expense, with daily rates typically ranging from $17–$22
  • RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration
