Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a minimum of 1.5 years of recent critical care experience, telemetry skills, and a NH or Compact RN license for a travel contract position.

Details

• 10-bed critical care unit focused on medical/surgical patients with unstable vital functions requiring specialized treatment
• Patient population includes critically unstable individuals presenting with conditions such as acute coronary syndrome and unstable hemodynamics
• Each patient room is equipped with electric therapeutic beds, cardiac monitoring with additional modules, emergency call systems, and wall-mounted documentation stations
• Patient ratios are 2:1 or 1:1 depending on acuity, isolation needs, and RN experience
• Telemetry experience required in this role
• 12-hour shifts with a schedule of 36 or 48 hours per week
• Rotating day and night shifts available
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active NH RN license or Compact RN license required (proof of state residency required for compact license holders)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CCRN certification preferred
• Minimum of 1.5 years of recent, equivalent ICU experience required
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required
• Telemetry experience required
• 2 manager references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include rapid recognition and treatment of life-threatening complications with an emphasis on total patient care
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates will be considered
