Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position requiring a minimum of 1.5 years of recent critical care experience, telemetry skills, and a NH or Compact RN license.

Details

• 10-bed critical care unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes critically unstable patients with conditions ranging from acute coronary syndrome to unstable hemodynamics
• RN-to-patient ratio is 2:1 or 1:1 depending on patient acuity, isolation needs, and RN experience
• Patient rooms are equipped with electric therapeutic beds, emergency call systems, cardiac monitoring with additional modules, and wall-mounted documentation stations
• 12-hour shifts available on day or night rotation
• 36 or 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active NH RN license or Compact RN license required (proof of state residency required for Compact license holders)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CCRN preferred
• Minimum of 1.5 years of recent ICU/critical care RN experience required
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required
• Telemetry experience required
• 2 professional references from managers required for consideration

Additional Information

• Focused on rapid recognition and treatment of life-threatening complications with an emphasis on total patient care
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• First-time travelers are not specified as eligible given the experience and trauma background requirements
