Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with at least 6 months of recent experience for a 13-week assignment in a hospital-based radiology/ultrasound department in Largo, FL.

Details

• Hospital-based ultrasound department with 286 beds
• May be required to float to the affiliated psych/rehab campus per facility policy
• Freestanding ER float potential to a nearby Clearwater location
• 4x10 hour evening shifts, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday through Thursday
• Every other weekend rotation required, shared with hospital staff
• Holiday coverage required on a rotating basis with hospital employees
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of ultrasound/sonography experience within the last 6 months
• Active and current licensure where applicable — license required if applicable
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• Two professional references required (due to Florida placement)
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Additional Information

• Radiology staff wear black scrubs
• This position is not open to local candidates; a 50-mile radius rule applies with no exceptions
