Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with at least 6 months of recent experience for a 13-week night shift assignment in the Ultrasound department of an acute care hospital in Largo, FL.
Details
- Hospital-based Ultrasound department in Largo, FL
- 286-bed acute care facility with an affiliated freestanding ER location in Clearwater, FL
- Night shifts running 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM, Monday through Thursday (4x10 schedule)
- Every other weekend required, with holiday rotation alongside permanent hospital staff
- Candidates may be required to float to the psych/rehab campus, which is treated as a float unit
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of experience within the last 6 months as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
- Active and applicable state license required if applicable
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted
- Two professional references required (due to Florida placement)
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
Additional Information
- Radiology staff are required to wear black scrubs
- Parking is available in the facility garage on the third and fourth floors for AM and PM shifts
- First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but allied candidates must have active recent experience within the last 6 months
