Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with at least 6 months of recent experience for a 13-week night shift assignment in the Ultrasound department of an acute care hospital in Largo, FL.

Details

• Hospital-based Ultrasound department in Largo, FL
• 286-bed acute care facility with an affiliated freestanding ER location in Clearwater, FL
• Night shifts running 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM, Monday through Thursday (4x10 schedule)
• Every other weekend required, with holiday rotation alongside permanent hospital staff
• Candidates may be required to float to the psych/rehab campus, which is treated as a float unit

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of experience within the last 6 months as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• Active and applicable state license required if applicable
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted
• Two professional references required (due to Florida placement)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible

Additional Information

• Radiology staff are required to wear black scrubs
• Parking is available in the facility garage on the third and fourth floors for AM and PM shifts
• First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but allied candidates must have active recent experience within the last 6 months
