Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with at least 6 months of recent experience for a 13-week assignment in a hospital radiology/ultrasound department in Largo, FL.

Details

• Hospital-based ultrasound department with 286 beds
• Schedule is Sunday through Tuesday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (3x12-hour day shifts)
• 13-week contract
• May be required to float to the psych/rehab campus, which is treated as a float unit

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of active experience within the last 6 months in ultrasound/sonography
• Active and applicable state license required if applicable
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• SSN and DOB required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted
• Two professional references required (Florida state requirement)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — no local candidates considered

Additional Information

• Travelers are scheduled in accordance with facility policy and are expected to work every other weekend and holidays on a rotating basis with hospital staff
• Scrub color for Radiology staff is black
• Parking is available in the facility garage on the third and fourth floors for AM and PM shifts
• First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but active recent experience within the last 6 months is required
