Description
American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist for a 13-week night shift contract at a large Level I Trauma academic medical center, with a minimum of 2 years of experience required.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting within a large Level I Trauma Center and academic medical center with 1,500+ beds
- MRI department
- 3x12-hour night shifts, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
- Weekend availability required
- Charting performed in Epic
- Parking available on-site at approximately $125/month
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
- Prior experience at a large trauma center required
- ARRT (MRI) certification required
- BLS required
- CT license required if applicable
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Pending state license accepted
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates
- Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
- RTO of up to 7 days may be approved automatically; requests exceeding 7 days require additional approval
- Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
- Flu vaccination is required; declinations are not accepted
- COVID vaccination and booster required; religious and medical exemptions are accepted
- Royal blue scrubs required
- 1 professional reference required for consideration
- Travelers are expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as required by the facility
