Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Oregon, open to first-time travelers, requiring Epic proficiency and every-other-weekend availability on night shifts.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit within a 109-bed short-term acute care hospital
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend required
• On-call may be required during low census periods, approximately one on-call shift per pay period
• Staffing ratios follow AWHONN standards
• No floating between units within this facility, though travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state
• Charting system: Epic (experience required)
• Scrubs are provided for this unit

Requirements

• Active Oregon (OR) RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from this facility
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; excessive RTO requests may impact eligibility
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront — post-offer changes may be denied
