Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience in an academic Level 1 Trauma Center for an evening/night shift position in a hospital respiratory/neuro diagnostics unit.
Details
- Evening and night shift positions available with shift times of 1900–0730, 2300–0730, and 1500–2330
- 8 and 12-hour shift options available
- Every other weekend rotation required
- Holiday coverage required
- One on-call shift required every 6-week scheduling period
- 13-week contract with the option to extend to 26 weeks
Requirements
- Wisconsin Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required; pending license at time of consideration is accepted
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- BLS certification required — American Heart Association (AHA) only
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a staff respiratory therapist required
- Experience in an academic Level 1 Trauma Center or similar-sized facility required
- Graduation from a COARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program required
- Pediatric and adult experience preferred
