Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 2 years of experience for an evening/night shift position at an academic Level 1 Trauma center.
Details
- Evening and night shift hours, with shift options including 1900–0730, 2300–0730, and 1500–2330
- 4x12-hour shift schedule
- Every other weekend rotation required
- One on-call shift required every 6-week scheduling period
- Holiday coverage required
- 13-week contract with the option to extend to 26 weeks
Requirements
- WI Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required; pending license at time of consideration is accepted
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
- BLS required — American Heart Association (AHA) only
- Graduation from a COARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program required
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a staff respiratory therapist
- Experience in an academic Level 1 Trauma center or similarly sized hospital required
- Pediatric and adult experience preferred

- Position is based in a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit at an academic Level 1 Trauma center
- Both pediatric and adult patient populations are served
