Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Long-Term Care position at a Critical Access Hospital, requiring a PA or Compact RN license and flexibility across evening and day shifts.

Details

• Long-term care unit within a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH) serving a rural community in northeast Pennsylvania
• Primary shift is evenings (3p-11p), with flexibility required for both 7a-3p and 3p-11p shifts on a 5x8 schedule (37.5 hrs/week)
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active PA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Charge nurse experience required, as RNs are typically the sole RN on during evening shifts

Additional Information

• RNs are expected to take charge on evening shifts, as they are typically the only RN on the unit during that time
• Local candidates are accepted and will receive the same rate as travelers
