Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week outpatient-focused travel assignment at a rural general clinic, covering both outpatient and inpatient caseloads.

Details

• Primary outpatient setting with combined coverage: approximately 80% outpatient and 20% inpatient
• Rural general clinic environment serving patients of all ages
• Patient population includes general degenerative conditions, post-surgical, workers' comp, and trauma cases, with wound care opportunities for certified clinicians
• Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–4:00 PM) with a 1-hour unpaid lunch
• Rotating weekends required less than once per month
• 40 hours per week

Requirements

• Current PT license required if applicable
• Active BLS certification required
• Experience in both outpatient and inpatient physical therapy settings required
• Ability to manage a diverse rural patient population across all age groups
• Copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• This is a general rural clinic setting with a broad and varied patient caseload
• Wound care experience or certification is a plus, as wound care may be part of the caseload for qualified clinicians
