Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position in Oklahoma City, OK, requiring at least one year of experience and AHA-issued certifications for a 13-week day shift contract.

• Day shift schedule: 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)

• CVICU and NICU experience is preferred
• Level 1 experience required

Requirements

• Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• Current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required — no other issuing bodies accepted
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Level 1 experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Full date of birth (DOB) required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include managing an assigned patient group, monitoring physiological data, administering medications, regulating IV infusions and blood products, and coordinating patient and family education
• Delegates tasks to support staff and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members
• Workers who have previously completed an assignment at this health system may reapply after a 6-month separation period; extensions are limited to one time for a total of 26 weeks
• Compliance with onboarding requirements (drug screen, background check, medical requirements) is strictly enforced — non-compliance may result in cancellation
