Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week acute care rehab assignment in Alaska, serving both outpatient and inpatient populations including adults and pediatrics.
Details
- Acute care rehabilitation setting serving both outpatient and inpatient populations
- Caseload includes both adult and pediatric patients using standard OT equipment for each population
- Day shift, five 8-hour shifts per week with possible weekend coverage
- Epic EMR with Pyxis medication dispensing system
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
Requirements
- Current, active Occupational Therapist license for the State of Alaska; license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of recent OT experience
- Current BLS certification required
- COVID vaccination or signed declination form required
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required
Additional Information
- Provide individualized, goal-directed OT care in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and within Alaska's Scope of Practice Act

- Department-specific orientation and required online modules must be completed prior to start
