Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a 14-week contract requiring ARRT licensure, Epic EHR proficiency, and experience with call coverage including weekends.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab setting in an acute care hospital environment
- Level 1 trauma experience preferred
- Shift schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Call requirements include 1 late call per week (5:30 PM – 7:30 PM), 1 full call shift per week (5:30 PM – 7:00 AM), and 1–2 call weekends per 6-week schedule (Friday 5:30 PM through Monday 7:00 AM)
- Epic EHR and McKesson experience required
- Experience with Philips Single and Bi-Plane Angiography preferred
Requirements
- Active KY ARRT license required before start date; pending license acceptable at time of consideration
- Current BLS and ACLS required
- PALS required before start date (not required at time of consideration)
- NIHSS certification required
- EKG onboarding exam required
- Epic EHR and McKesson proficiency required
- Level 1 trauma experience preferred
- 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years required for consideration
- All certifications must be provided for consideration
- License required if applicable — candidates must have a clean licensure history with no hits
Additional Information
- Candidates whose permanent residence is within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission; RTO requests made after submission will not be approved
