Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Level 4 NICU experience for a night shift travel contract at a children's hospital.

Details

• Position is located within a children's hospital NICU unit
• Level 4 NICU patient population; cardiac PICU experience preferred
• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:00 (3x12-hour shifts)
• 36 or 48 hours available per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Unit uses a self-scheduling model; preferred schedule is accommodated when possible
• Epic EMR experience required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required and must be in-hand at time of consideration
• Active state license required; VA license pending is accepted provided a temporary license can be obtained before start date — a current license in another state is required to be eligible for the VA temp (license required if applicable)
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) certification preferred
• Minimum Level 4 NICU experience required
• Cardiac PICU experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

Additional Information

• No RTO is permitted on July 4th
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must wait 12 months before returning as a traveler
• No radius rule — local candidates are welcome to apply
• Floating may occur in accordance with each candidate's clinical experience
