Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Level 4 NICU experience for a night shift travel assignment at a children's hospital.

Details

• Position is based in a children's hospital NICU setting
• Level 4 NICU patient population; cardiac PICU experience preferred
• Night shift schedule: 7p–7a (4x12-hour shifts)
• 36 or 48 hours available per week
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Unit uses a self-scheduling model; the manager will explain during a call, but desired schedule cannot be guaranteed
• Epic EMR experience required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• RRT certification required and must be held in-hand at time of consideration
• Active state license required; VA license pending is acceptable provided a temporary license can be obtained before start — a license from another state must be held to be eligible for the VA temporary license (license required if applicable)
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• ACCS certification preferred
• Minimum Level 4 NICU experience required
• Cardiac PICU experience preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License and Social Security card required for consideration
• Copies of required certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• No RTO will be approved for the July 4th holiday
• There is no radius rule for this position — local candidates are welcome to apply
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must allow 12 months to pass before returning as a traveler
• Floating may occur in accordance with the candidate's clinical experience
