Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a general nuclear medicine unit, requiring 1+ year of experience, NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification, and Epic proficiency.
Details
- General Nuclear Medicine unit in an acute care hospital setting
- Procedures include PET/CT (including Cardiac PET with Rubidium), bone/liver/spleen/lung scans, renal flow, shunt, thyroid studies, tumor localization, SPECT, and myocardial imaging
- Epic EMR experience required; Synapse PACS and Cardiology PACS experience preferred
- 4x10 hour day shifts with start times variable between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM
- No call or weekend requirements
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
- Current BLS and NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification required; ACLS and ARRT(R) preferred
- License required if applicable
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information

- Experience with Synapse PACS, Cardiology PACS, and a broad range of nuclear medicine studies is preferred
