Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and active Cerner proficiency.

Details

• 13-week travel contract in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
• Patient population includes females of childbearing age, pregnant patients from 17 weeks gestation, laboring patients, and triage cases
• Procedures and activities include vaginal and C-section deliveries, pre-op care, admissions, discharges, transfers, external cephalic versions, and cerclage procedures
• Common equipment includes fetal monitors, Cerner, and Fetalink documentation systems
• Schedule is 3x12-hour day shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Cerner EMR experience is required

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) — no pending licenses accepted
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience in a US hospital required
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR required
• US Social Security Number required for consideration
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
