Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology position in South Carolina requiring a valid SC or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR) setting, including IR holding department
• Adult patient population with a variety of cardiac and disease processes
• Procedural area encompassing pre- and post-procedure care
• Day shift position, Monday through Friday, with rotating evening, night, weekend, and holiday call
• Primarily a 4x9-hour schedule with occasional 5x8-hour shifts as needed
• Required skills include IV starts, circulating, telemetry, and conscious sedation
• Hemodynamic monitoring and PACS experience preferred
• Meditech EMR in use

Requirements

• Active SC RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Clean background with no background hits or licensure actions
• PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

• Provide nursing care in a cardiac Cath Lab and IR environment, including pre- and post-procedural care
• On-call responsibilities include rotating evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• 13-week contract
