Description
American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with PET/CT and general nuclear medicine experience for a 26-week travel contract in Ohio — first-time travelers welcome.
Details
- Work setting includes both inpatient and outpatient nuclear medicine
- Daily caseload of approximately 33 PET/CT scans, primarily oncology cases including whole-body FDG, brain, cardiac, and neuroendocrine imaging
- 2 PET/CT scanners available
- Monday–Friday schedule with flexible start times ranging from 6:00 AM to 9:30 AM
- 8-hour shifts; optional 10-hour shifts during holiday weeks
- 1 evening shift and 1 Saturday per month required
- Federal holidays off
- 26-week contract duration
Requirements
- Experience in PET/CT and general nuclear medicine required
- Both inpatient and outpatient experience required
- IV start proficiency required
- PACS experience required
- Active BLS required
- Active ARRT or NMTCB certification required
- Active state license required; license required if applicable
- 2 professional references required — at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as a second reference; co-worker references are not accepted
- Flexible availability for varying start times required
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must be flexible with daily start times, which vary between 6:00 AM and 9:30 AM
- RTO must be submitted at the time of consideration and built into the contract; RTO is limited to 7 days or less
- RTO is restricted during the months of February and March
- Former facility employees are eligible for a travel assignment after a 6-month separation from the facility
- Local candidates are accepted
- Ohio state fingerprinting is required upon booking — candidates should be prepared to complete this process promptly after signing a contract
- Grey scrubs are preferred; scrubs are not provided
- On-site parking options are available for purchase through CampusParc
