Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including hospital-based care of critically ill patients, and required Siemens MRI system proficiency.
Details
- Position is based in a neuroimaging center within a large academic health system campus
- Will float to all MRI locations across the Gainesville campus
- Experience with Siemens MRI systems is required, including XA and B platforms (Avanto, Verio, Prisma, Aera, and Sola)
- Patient population includes critically ill patients in a hospital setting
- 8-hour evening shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience, including hospital setting with critically ill patients
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Hands-on experience with Siemens MRI systems is required — candidates without this experience will not be considered
- Candidates with a clinical employment gap of 180 or more days will not be considered
- FL license required if applicable
- At least 1 professional reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic and treatment MRI procedures as part of a collaborative imaging team
- Must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- No RTO is permitted during the first 2 weeks of the assignment; a maximum of 8 days RTO is allowed for a 13-week contract
- Closed-toe, non-permeable shoes are required — open or permeable footwear is not permitted
- A unit manager interview is required prior to placement
- Florida ACHA credentialing processing may take up to 14 business days
- Seasonal influenza vaccination is required; medical exemptions are available for the current season with an approved exemption form
