Description
American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of hospital experience and required Siemens MRI system proficiency for a 13-week evening shift contract in Gainesville, FL.
Details
- Position is based in a neuroimaging center and will float to all MRI locations on the Gainesville campus
- Experience with Siemens MRI systems required, including XA and B platforms (Avanto, Verio, Prisma, Aera, Sola)
- Patient population includes critically ill patients in a hospital setting
- 8-hour evening shifts, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience, including a hospital setting with critically ill patients
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Hands-on experience with Siemens MRI systems is required — candidates without this experience will not be considered
- FL license required if applicable
- Candidates must not have had a clinical employment gap of 180 or more days
- At least one reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic and treatment MRI procedures as part of a collaborative team
- Must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Unit Manager interviews are required
- FL ACHA credentialing processing may take up to 14 business days
- No permeable (open-toe or mesh) footwear permitted
- No RTO is permitted during the first 2 weeks of the assignment; a maximum of 8 days RTO is allowed for the 13-week contract
- Seasonal influenza vaccination is required; medical exemptions are available for the 2025–2026 season with an approved exemption form
