Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Epic experience for a night shift position at a critical access hospital in Washington State.
Details
- Critical access hospital setting with 25 total staffed beds
- Respiratory therapy unit with potential to float to a sister facility approximately 30 minutes away
- Patient ratio of 1:3
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Block scheduling required
- On-call not required
- Charting via Epic (experience required)
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable
- No parking fees at this facility
Requirements
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Washington State respiratory therapy license required (must be in hand at time of consideration)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT
- Epic EMR experience required
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
- Minimal RTO is expected; any requested time off should be disclosed prior to submission, as post-offer RTO requests may be denied
- This is a non-teaching, critical access facility with no trauma designation
- Housing resources are available in the area, including furnished rooms and nearby options in Chewelah, WA
