Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel Radiological Technologist with 3–5 years of OR diagnostic imaging and C-arm experience for an Ambulatory Surgery Center assignment in Rockaway, NJ.

Details

• Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) setting
• Monday–Friday schedule between 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week
• No on-call required
• May float to the X-Ray Department one floor below, as well as to a nearby sister hospital
• Epic used for charting

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience with OR diagnostic imaging and C-arm required
• Active NJ state RT license required (license required if applicable)
• ARRT certification required
• Current BLS required
• Graduate of an accredited Radiography School
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Perform and provide appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
• Demonstrates knowledge of imaging equipment setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care
• Maintains equipment for procedures and assesses patient safety, physical, and physiological comfort
• Monitors need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures
• Travelers may remain on assignment for up to one calendar year from the initial start date; a 30–60 day break is required before returning to a new assignment
