Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position in Kennewick, WA, requiring 3+ years of OR experience across multiple surgical specialties.

Details

• Hospital-based OR setting with 6 operating rooms at a 111-bed, Level III Trauma, academic teaching hospital in southeastern Washington
• Surgical specialties include General Surgery (robotic and laparoscopic), Urology, GYN, Spine, Orthopedics (including total joints, podiatry, and hand surgery), and Vascular
• Primary patient population is adult and geriatric
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift schedule: 6:15 AM – 5:15 PM
• Call requirement of 7 calls per month, including at least 1 Saturday, 1 Sunday, and 1 holiday
• No floating required
• Stryker equipment used throughout the OR
• EMR: Paragon
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WA or Compact RN license required
• AHA certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience
• Hands-on experience in most or all listed specialties: Gen Surg, Urology, GYN, Spine, Ortho, and Vascular
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates and placement
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
• New Employee Orientation (NEO) dates are scheduled bi-monthly throughout the year — confirm your specific NEO date upon offer
