Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including required screening mammography experience and Cerner proficiency, for an outpatient day shift assignment.
Details
- Outpatient mammography setting
- Screening mammography procedures required; diagnostic mammography, stereotactic biopsies, and digital mammography experience preferred
- Monday through Friday day shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
- Cerner EMR experience required; PACS skills preferred
- Travelers may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate facility
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of mammography experience
- Current BLS and ARRT certification required
- Experience with Hologic Dimensions equipment required
- Cerner charting experience required
- IN or Compact license required if applicable
- 2 supervisor references required for consideration
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- COVID-19 vaccination required; medical or religious exemptions accepted with documentation
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Local candidates (IN residents) are accepted
- Former permanent or PRN employees of the facility must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
- Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within the health system must take a consecutive break to reset eligibility: out-of-state residents require a 90-day break and in-state residents require a 180-day break
- Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto-approved
- Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
