Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and active CT and ARRT certifications for a travel assignment at a Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma teaching hospital.
Details
- Position rotates between an inpatient hospital setting and an outpatient imaging center, with the majority of shifts at the outpatient facility
- Level I Trauma Center and Stroke Center designation
- Short-term acute care facility with 632 staffed beds
- Patient population includes adults, geriatrics, neonates, pediatrics, infants, and adolescents
- Day shift: 8-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM; Evening shift: 8-hour shifts from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- 2–3 weekends required per month
- Epic EMR used; experience preferred
- Scrubs: light blue
- Free parking available with badge access to parking garage
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Tech experience required
- Active CT certification and ARRT required
- Inpatient, ER, and Level I Trauma experience required
- Experience with IV and contrast administration required
- MI state license must be active by start date; compact licenses are not accepted in MI — license required if applicable
- All allied candidates must be able to provide proof of high school-level education
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
- RTO must be submitted at the time of profile; maximum of 5 days RTO per assignment
- Former core staff members must wait 12 months before returning and should be verified through HR prior to consideration
- Orientation includes Epic training for those without prior experience
- Pre-start modules are required and vary by specialty
